Greetings Vertigo Venus fans. We have
been getting lots of emails and facebook messages regarding the status of the band. Well,
as of May 12th 2013 VV will be ending. There are many reasons why the 4 of us
do not want to continue this band. Some are personal, some are not. I hate to just leave
it at that, but we have to. We would like thank all of you, for loving the music that we’ve
made for the last 10 years. We had good times and bad. You guys stuck with us through it
all. The last 10 years have been great and we have you to thank.
HOWEVER! Do not despair my friends. We are not throwing in the towel. We already have a
new band in the works. The line up is myself (Chris), Jeff, Jess, and Erik. We are called Nexus Elementa.
We are playing a mix of Goth, Metal, and Dance music. We will not be ready to play live
until the fall of this year due to summer schedules. We hope to have a record done in this
time as well. So, when we do start to play live, you guys can have our music right away.
We have one last show as Vertigo Venus on Saturday May 11th at Burt’s Tiki
Lounge. We are going to play all the hits VV put out. It will be the last time they will
be played live. Again, we want to thank all of you for the last 10 years of support,
friendship, and enjoying the art of music. |
